WAGES RISE FASTER THAN PRICES

Over the past 20 years hourly wages have risen more than prices. Numbers taken from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Stasticis indicate that hourly wages have risen by 102% and prices by 67% over that time. Look at the numbers: Average wage index 1990 at $20,099 and 2010 at $40,711 for an increase of 102%. Consumer price index 1990 at 130.7 and 2010 at 218.0 for an increase of 67%.
