I write from a conservative point of view and do not engage in personal attacks. There are no solutions, only tradeoffs as said by economist Thomas Sowell. This can be seen with most bills passed by congress.

PRIVATIZE SOCIAL SECURITY
Nearly fifty years ago , during the year 1951, I took my first job as a pharmacist and drew a paycheck until retirement in 2003. In the year 1951 the Dow jones industrial average stood at 240 and on retirement in 2003 the DJIA was at 12,000 , 50 times higher than when I started working. I just cannot imagine the amount of money I would have now for my retirement if social security had been privatized in 1951. Please calculate that for me.
